Scenery Photo's and Video from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan:
The Upper Peninsula is the northern of the two major land masses that make up the U.S. State of Michigan.
The Upper Peninsula contains 29% of the land area of Michigan but just 3% of its total population. Residents are frequently called Yoopers and have a strong regional identity.
The first known inhabitants of the UP were tribes speaking Algonquian languages. Early tribes included the Menominee, Nocquet, and the Mishinimaki. The French were probably the first European to visit the peninsula.

216 Original Photos compiled from my beach walks along I. B. - Imperial Beach is the most southern beach city in Southern California and the West Coast of the United States. It is in the South Bay area of San Diego County, 14.1 miles south of downtown San Diego and 5 miles northwest of downtown Tijuana, Mexico.
Founded in June 1887, the city takes its name from Imperial County, California, a desert climate 100 miles east. Farmers and land owners from the Imperial Valley came to the area in the late 1880s seeking cooler weather during summer months.

I have lived in California since the early 50s. My interest in Photography began in 1969 when I attended photography classes. I mostly shot 2 1/4 at the time and primarily Black & White.
After the mid-70s I began experimenting a bit with color slides. During this time I had 2 cameras, Yashica Mat-G then in I bought a hasselblad camera. Which I used until the early 80s.
During the 1970s I visited The Big Island of Hawaii twice and collected over 100 sunsets. I edited them down to the best. Plus many evening in California photographing some of the sunsets.
